Select appoints Sisk on £247m Affinity Living scheme

Greater Manchester construction firm John Sisk & Son has won a major deal to deliver the £247m private rental scheme at Circle Square, the development which is transforming the former BBC site.
 
The deal will see Sisk deliver 677 apartments for Select Property Group’s Affinity Living scheme. Split across two buildings, Affinity Living comprises apartments and 1500 sq m of amenity space. This includes shared lounge areas, co-working spaces, supersized gyms and private entertaining spaces.
 
Select’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Oakes, said: “With huge growth plans and an ambitious delivery pipeline across the country, we want to work with partners who share the same drive and determination; we believe Sisk are just that. "We are looking forward to the team starting on site and seeing Affinity Living, Circle Square come to life.”

Set to reshape Manchester’s cultural and business scene, Circle Square is a £750m development in the heart of Manchester city centre. The scheme is a joint venture partnership between Select Property Group and Bruntwood. This collaborative and connected space at the heart of Corridor Manchester, will be surrounded by world leading centres of knowledge, science and technology, business, art, music and dance.
