Wednesday 25th November 2020:             John Sisk & Son is proud to be a part of a stellar line-up for the upcoming BEN Northern Powerhouse Economic Growth Conference on Thursday 3rd December. On the day Paul Brown, COO, UK Construction and Civil Engineering, Sisk will be on a panel discussing his views on the interaction of buildings, transport and infrastructure. Paul will also be discussing how Sisk supports public and private sector clients to deliver ‘Game Changer‘ regeneration projects such as Circle Square, Man Life, Wembley Park, The Mercian, Birmingham, Leeds LPTIP (Leeds Public Transport Investment Programme) and York Central.

  

The Sisk COO will also be telling the story of Sisk's social value vision and where we see our role as not just ‘project by project’ but a leader of long term social value- the benefits to the communities we operate within- job and business opportunities, apprenticeships and helping homeless people back into the workforce. 


Alan Rodger, Managing Director, UK North, Sisk will also be chairing a panel discussion on the following topics: Intelligent Regeneration and the Importance of Placemaking (Places to live, learn and work – The interaction of public/private joint ventures to deliver regeneration that includes: Education, Health, Residential, Work Places and Leisure). 

 

Alan will be joined on the panel by Chris Roberts, Chief Development Officer of Bruntwood, Louise Turner, Director of Midia, Angela Barnicle, Chief Officer Asset Management & Regeneration at Leeds City Council and Richard Roe, Corporate Director of Place, Trafford Council.
