Kennedy Wilson purchased the existing office building at No’s 27 to 33 Baggot Street, Dublin to refurbish as a new office block for a multinational tenant. The existing building comprised three blocks; Block A opening onto Fleming Place, Block C opening onto Baggot Street and Block B joining the two.
The project required the demolition of the existing façades, the roof level plant room and penthouse offices and the extension of existing floor plates in Block A and B, additional lifts and escape stairs within each block.
A new sixth floor penthouse office was constructed on Block A, a new plant room on the top of Block B and a new fifth floor penthouse office space on Block C. There were some structural alterations to façade columns and reconfiguration of the existing stairwells.
The project also required the strip out of the existing internal fit out and a new high specification fit out of the entire building. There is also new hard and soft landscaping around the full perimeter of the building.
