Bringing together light and space to create one of Dublin’s best work environments

Bottleworks is an enterprise and innovation building built for Jones Investment Limited. It is located on No. 15 Barrow Street, Dublin 4. The project was completed in July 2021.

It comprises of 25,763 sq ft of office space and three floors over a double basement with another live building site and busy road on the final side.

The building footprint covered 100 percent of the site, meaning all storage and welfare facilities had to be within the footprint of the building during the construction.

The fit-out of the café and reception area comprised of 16mm thick terrazzo flooring with a bespoke mix of marble chippings, bespoke gloss timber joinery walls and counter tops, flued glazed screens with automated doors. The lighting was unique to the project, with some extending six meters in length of curved light.

The terrazzo floors at the reception and landlord areas possess a unique pearl-like quality. This is testament to the iterative process of custom mixes worked between all project stakeholders. Patience and forward planning during the build were critical to realising this feature of the project.
