Contracts signed for €550m Irish Motorway

A consortium of Irish Contractors John Sisk, Roadbridge, and Lagan together with Strabag of Austria has signed the Contract to build a new Motorway Link in the West of Ireland.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has agreed to provide €144m (£115m) towards construction of the scheme, which will be built on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis. Contracts for the M17/M18 Gort to Tuam PPP Scheme were signed in Dublin for the project, which is expected to create up to 450 jobs.

Groundbreaking Ceremony at Peabody St Johns Hill

A ground breaking ceremony has heralded the start of construction at Peabody’s £120m regeneration of the St Johns Hill estate in Clapham Junction. 
Designed by Hawkins/Brown architects, the total development will provide 528 new homes (up from the existing 353) in a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. 279 homes will be affordable (social rent and intermediate housing) and 249 for private sale.


George Sisk attends reception at Buckingham Palace

Mr. Sisk attended a reception hosted by The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 25th March 2014 on the occasion of the State Visit of The President of Ireland
