BIM Gathering

Sisk was delighted to sponsor BIM Gathering held in Croke Park on the 23-24th of November 2017.It was organized by CITA to create more awareness of BIM and its use among different organisations. We were excited to be at that event as it was good platform to demonstrate the use of BIM in our projects, learn the best practices and know more about the implementation of BIM by other organisations.

The fundamental principle behind Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a collaborative working environment, which fits with the Sisk ethos. Sisk have always leveraged the benefits of technical advancements to achieve our strategic goals. We have used BIM processes, together with the latest software and technology to identify opportunities, planning the project in the virtual environment for projects such as the Aviva Stadium, London Olympics, numerous healthcare projects, Data centres and complex pharmaceutical plants right across our construction portfolio.

We are the first Irish main contractor to receive BRE BIM Level 2 business systems certification and we are actively using BIM Level 2 processes on a number of projects.

We bring the combined experience of our operations across the UK and Ireland in our commitment to achieving our clients' goals. Having BIM & Digital innovation central to the construction process allows us to be more collaborative, creative and efficient, add value and optimise the project carbon footprint from the construction and operation of the projects we deliver.
