John Sisk & Son, on a phased basis managed and resourced the fit-out of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors within the Brown Thomas building to an exceptionally high standard of finish. Concurrently the Hermes store fit-out was also completed within the BT building. Located in a very restricted city centre location, the works were completed while BT continued trading and included:
- Removal of existing shop fittings;
- New M&E and sprinkler installations;
- New floors and ceilings;
- New dressing rooms, store rooms;
- New shop fittings;
- Removal and replacement of the staircase to all floors. Size: 6,000m2
Phase 2 works involved the complete upgrade of an existing retail floor in the fine jewellery hall in a “live” environment of approx 300m2. This is achieved by use of a complete hoarded tunnel which allows the existing retail floor to function without compromise to the general public or Health & Safety. The project involved the complete upgrade of M&E with a new stone floor and coffered ceilings. This was completed with Dula mirrored partitions throughout.
The Brown Thomas flagship store in Dublin is now internationally recognised as a destination retail experience.
