Block J, Earlsdon Park, Coventry
Client : MCD (Coventry) Ltd
Value : £3.1m (€3.5m)
This second phase of MCD’s major mixed-use development in Coventry delivers 30 two bed and 11 one bed affordable apartments for Mercian Housing.
John Sisk & Son exceeded the client’s expectations for value for money and performance and met the architect’s aspirations for quality and aesthetics through a variety of means, generating considerable cost savings as a result of design developments.
The 6 storey building has a timber frame which is brick clad and rendered with a mixture of zinc metal and single ply for the roof structure. The project also includes the installation of kitchens with white goods to the apartments and full finishes to the communal areas and reception area.
