King Edward Court, Windsor
Client : Analytical Properties Ltd
Value : £22.6m (€25.3m)
King Edward Court offers visitors to Windsor the best in town centre shopping. The scheme comprised the construction of a new Waitrose store, a 113 bedroom Travelodge hotel and a further 4 retail units plus café bar. A new Shopmobility unit was provided as part of modifications to the existing multi-storey car park.
John Sisk & Son’s skilled team ably rose to the challenge of working on a site that is surrounded by public highways on three sides and a car park on the fourth, with a public road passing right through its middle.
Opened by the Queen in February 2008, the new buildings and landscaping seamlessly marry up to the existing shopping mall and have made an impressive addition to the area.
