This project involved the refurbishment of an eleven storey office block whilst occupied and in full use by the client, so saving the disruption and expenses generated by relocation during the works. Works to the elevations included replacement of the windows and cleaning the façade. Internally all floors were stripped back to the shell.
Category A works included the replacement of four lifts together with the formation of a revised reception area, new toilet facilities on each floor, raised floors and suspended ceilings. LG7 compliant lighting was installed, providing an interesting and stimulating environment for people to work in.
The tenants remained in occupation during the works which included Category B fit-out to four floors. The M&E installations overseen by John Sisk & Son’s in-house team also included additional power, data cabling and specialist AV equipment. The new open and spacious working environment is now fully compliant with DDA requirements.
In my view, their attitude, diligence and standard of work could not have been bettered.Ian Forrest, Partner, Hammonds
