Chancery Place, Manchester
Client : Chancery Place Developments Ltd
Value : £21m (€23.5m)
This striking new build scheme is located within a conservation area in the heart of Manchester’s business district. It comprises a mix of retail and high quality office space over 15 floors and two and a half levels of basement car parking.
Early engagement with the client during the design and planning process resulted in a building which occupies 105% of its footprint, increasing lettable space and revenue.
Vertical glass louvres screen the roof top plant whilst visually ‘crowning’ the building. Internally, the open plan commercial space is finished to a very high specification with amenity areas faced with natural stone and slate materials.
Adaptability is fundamental to the building’s design, allowing for flexible configurations on each floor to meet diverse and evolving tenant needs. Chancery Place’s sustainable agenda is demonstrated through its BREEAM Very Good rating.
I was extremely satisfied with the Sisk team and the completed project. It was a complicated build on a very restricted site in the CBD and we had to be very conscious of all adjoining occupiers. Sisk delivered the project on time and in budget... I would have no hesitation in using Sisk again or indeed in recommending Sisk to anyone looking for a top quality professional contractor.Conor O'Gallagher, Director, Guardian Property Asset Management Ltd
