Finzels Reach, Bristol
Client : HDG Mansur
Value : £75m (€83.9m)
Finzels Reach is a significant new landmark and city centre regeneration for Bristol.
The completed project will comprise 1 million ft2 of development; including 399 individually designed apartments, 300,000 ft2 of offices and 87,000 ft2 of shops, cafés and leisure facilities set in landscaped public space and linked to the existing city centre by a spectacular new footbridge.
John Sisk & Son has delivered a major mixed use development which will regenerate the historic Courage brewery site in Bristol City Centre. The scheme dovetails the restoration of Grade II listed buildings and elements together with sensitively designed new build structures. This approach ensures the character and heritage of the site will be maintained for future generations and brings a modern environment of a closely integrated living, working, leisure and retail space to the city centre.
The project was delivered as three separate elements:
Construction of three residential blocks with ground floor retail units and floating pontoon works.
Construction of a further four residential blocks.
Commercial office block delivered in parallel with the residential works. It provides 110,524 ft2 of Grade A office space and is also a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ building.
