    John Sisk & Son won four of the Irish Construction Excellence (ICE) Awards, presented at the Gala Dinner event in Dublin recently.   Pairc Ui Chaoimh was the headline winner of the “ICE Project of the Year Award”, as voted for by the general public and industry participants alike. This was its second award of the night having already won one of the Judges Silver Awards, which were presented by well-known architect Angela Brady OBE.

    Sisk was delighted to be involved with the Technoteachers Annual National Student Awards which was held on the 10th of March in the GMIT Galway Campus. Awards were given to the Top 3 in Materials Technology Wood, Technical Graphics, Technology, Constructions Studies, Design & Communication Graphics and Graphics and Construction on the day.

  • Sisk Steconfer JV welcomes opening of new Luas Cross City extension

    Sisk Steconfer JV (SSJV) has today welcomed the commencement of passenger services on the Luas Cross City, the extension of the Green Line through the City Centre to Broombridge. Construction works for Luas Cross City were carried out by a joint venture between John Sisk & Son (Holdings) Ltd, Ireland’s No1 provider of construction services with extensive operations across Ireland, the United Kingdom and mainland Europe, and Steconfer, a Portuguese based global railway construction company.

    John Sisk & Son (“Sisk”), Ireland’s leading provider of construction services with extensive operations across Ireland, the United Kingdom and mainland Europe, has announced the winners of its inaugural Supply Chain Awards for 2017. Sisk spent a total of €850m with its supply chain in 2017 while the construction business also confirmed it has a total of 7,000 approved and active suppliers on its records (4,000 in Ireland and 3,000 in the UK).
  • Quintain and Sisk sign largest ever construction contract at Wembley Park for over 700 new Build to Rent homes

    The £211m construction contract for Canada Gardens is the largest ever awarded at Wembley Park.  Canada Gardens will comprise 743 new Build to Rent homes across seven buildings including over 300 family sized homes. Sisk’s ninth project at Wembley Park in 12 years of working on the scheme.

    Sisk was delighted to sponsor BIM Gathering held in Croke Park on the 23-24th of November 2017.It was organized by CITA to create more awareness of BIM and its use among different organisations. We were excited to be at that event as it was good platform to demonstrate the use of BIM in our projects, learn the best practices and know more about the implementation of BIM by other organisations.
