  • Sisk starts work on new motorway junction in Merseyside, UK

                  Work has just started on a multi-million pound M58 improvement scheme in Sefton. The project involves the construction of the ‘missing’ slip roads at Junction 1 of the busy motorway, providing a northbound off slip and a southbound on-slip.
  • Sisk reports strong performance for 2018 across all businesses

    Sicon Limited which is the holding company for Sisk’s construction and construction related activities in Ireland, the United Kingdom and a number of international markets, has announced financial results for the year ended 31 December 2018.  Over 97% of the Group’s turnover are derived from construction activities. The figures below also incorporate the results of the Korine Property Partners and Origo Distribution businesses which are wholly owned subsidiaries of Sicon.   The Sicon Board is pleased to report a very strong set of results for 2018:

  • Sod Turning at Corkagh Grange, Clondalkin

    On Tuesday 30 April 2019, Cllr Charlie O’Connor, on behalf of the Mayor of South Dublin County Council, officially turned the sod for a 109 unit residential development on the townlands of Kilcarbery and Corkagh Demesne, Old Nangor Road in Clondalkin, Dublin 22. The development, known as Corkagh Grange, will comprise of eight four bedroom houses, 71 three bed houses, 15 two bed apartments and 15 one bed apartments.
  • North East’s first triple decker junction opens to drivers

    Over 80,000 drivers a day are experiencing safer and smoother journeys across North Tyneside thanks to the opening of the North East’s first ever triple decker junction. The £75 million Highways England Coast Road scheme has been opened on time and traffic is now able to use the new section of road. This means that drivers will no longer have to negotiate the roundabout and can continue straight on along the A19.  
  • Moda Living appoints John Sisk & Son to build Birmingham rental skyscraper

    Enabling works have started on Birmingham’s tallest resi tower with the official  ground-breaking planned for next month ●      Once finished, the tower will offer nearly 500 apartments designed exclusively for rent ●      By end of 2019, Moda and JV partner Apache Capital will have more than 2,500 units on-site across the UK with total GDV in excess of £850m  
  • Macquarie Capital, Sisk and Choice reach financial close on Ireland’s €120 million Social Housing Bundle 1 PPP

    Comhar Housing, a consortium comprising Macquarie Capital (Macquarie), John Sisk & Son Ltd. (Sisk) and Choice Housing Ireland Limited (Choice), has today reached financial close on Ireland’s social housing bundle 1 (SHB1) public private partnership (PPP) project.

    Quintain Limited and associated companies have obtained a High Court injunction preventing unauthorised access into buildings and building sites at our Wembley Park development. This follows a number of incidents where individuals placed themselves and others in danger.
