This repeat business project involved the conversion of offices at Albany House and 80-82 Mortimer Street into 24 one and two bed high quality apartments.
The buildings were extended and significantly remodelled internally including residual stripping out and alteration works, overhauling and strengthening of existing structures, new floors, walls and ceiling finishes to apartments, and new / modified M&E installations.
As both buildings are Grade II listed, we worked closely with Westminster Borough Council and English Heritage to ensure their requirements were fully integrated into the delivery of the works. This included carefully managing the repairs to the façade of 80-82 Mortimer Street which comprises of red brick and ornate Portland stone sculptures.
The logistically challenging works across a spilt site were expertly managed by our team, as well as the successful management of public interfaces close to Regent Street and a fully operational Lloyds TSB below Albany House.
