This striking new build scheme is located within a conservation area in the heart of Manchester’s business district. It comprises a mix of retail and high quality office space over 15 floors and two and a half levels of basement car parking.
Early engagement with the client during the design and planning process resulted in a building which occupies 105% of its footprint, increasing lettable space and revenue.
Vertical glass louvres screen the roof top plant whilst visually ‘crowning’ the building. Internally, the open plan commercial space is finished to a very high specification with amenity areas faced with natural stone and slate materials.
Adaptability is fundamental to the building’s design, allowing for flexible configurations on each floor to meet diverse and evolving tenant needs. Chancery Place’s sustainable agenda is demonstrated through its BREEAM Very Good rating.
